This site has good tech info. He has some links to other good tech sites. He combat role-plays alien/predator, star trek, star wars, etc. with a group south of London He uses Worlds of Wonder compatible gear.

Blackwatch
An organization set up to run and play games of Lazer Tag in Great Britain. The equipment is based on old Worlds of Wonder gear. The group is based on military special forces teams and the marines from "Aliens" and "Space, Above and Beyond." The group is based in Nottingham and Northampton in England. They also have plans on how to build a couple of the guns that they use. Their equipment is SWEET!
